YMCA Afterschool Care at Mata Elementary

Afterschool care on Mata’s campus is provided through the YMCA Afterschool Program, offering a safe, structured, and engaging environment for students after the school day ends.

🕒 Hours: School Dismissal – 6:30 PM
📚 Grades: PreK3 – 8th Grade

💵 Registration Fee (2025–2026): $85 per child

Weekly Rates:
YMCA Members: $76 | $60 second child
Non-Members: $96 | $86 second child

🎟 Punch Card: 15 visits – $455

Financial assistance is available through the Y For All Program. Families who may need help covering fees are encouraged to apply.

Licensed & Safe

YMCA school-age programs are licensed by the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services (TDFPS) and operate at a 1:15 staff-to-student ratio, well below the 1:26 ratio required by the State of Texas.
